My Creamy Green Winter Smoothie has quickly become my favourite winter morning energy booster as it is great for keeping my immune system healthy and strong thanks to the ginger and cinnamon. It keeps me full and helps ward off those 10am morning cravings thanks to the healthy fats from the almond milk. It is such an easy way to get in daily greens with the help of the Go Good Detox Booster. Such a time saver, as I just have to add a scoop and I'm done.
I still like to boost mine with a handful of baby spinach as I can’t even taste it but it ensures that all my greens are then ticked off for the day. You can easily switch the spinach for kale, Swiss chard or add in a tsp of matcha powder for an antioxidant hit if you’re feeling run down or tired.
There are also a few booster options below that just take this Creamy Green Winter Smoothie to the next level. I add a scoop of protein powder if I’m getting in a morning workout, the MCT oil if I’m feeling tired and the bee pollen if my immune system needs some attention. But let’s be honest they can all be added to your smoothie if you like to start your day with a real kick.
So what are you waiting for, winter can still be a time for smoothies, and this is the perfect green smoothie to get you started. Enjoy.
